About Aquattica Pools & Water Parks

Aquattica delivers expert design, engineering, and consulting solutions  for commercial, institutional and municipal swimming pools and aquatics facilities.

Aquattica was founded in January 2000 by a national pool equipment sales executive, a mechanical/structural engineer, and a USA Swimming coach. They sought to fuse their unique vantage points in the industry to improve modern poolbuilding practices and deliver superior results to clients.

Today, Aquattica has completed hundreds of projects across the United States. Aquattica seeks to consistently build affordable and expertly designed aquatic facilities that reflect the needs of the client, the whole community, and the sport.

Aquattica is a sought-after subcontractor for architects and developers whose projects require a pool or water park program.  The Aquattica team is also regularly consulted by municipalities, Olympic committees and government agencies to assist in the technical review of facilities as they relate to design, programs, operations, and maintenance.

The experts at Aquattica regularly participate in collaborations with architects, engineers, construction managers, planners, and construction companies to develop new products and create new design standards and technical improvements in the ever-evolving poolbuilding industry.

Aquattica’s approach to design begins with programming and planning. We work with school districts, municipalities, non-profit organizations, and private corporations in a collaborative process to develop a long-range vision for each project. With this vision as the foundation of our work, we can make program, service, and space requirement recommendations that will support our clients’ goals for their aquatics facilities.

We facilitate the initial planning process. We have the experience to bring large groups of stakeholders to consensus so that projects stay on track, while at the same time making sure that everyone is part of the decision-making process. We also act as interpreters, ensuring that the vision is translated into project design. Finally, Aquattica creates programs with operations and cost-control as a priority: forecasting the operations, maintenance, related costs, life-cycles and ongoing needs of the facility are critical to the design process.

Each project is assigned a select team of architects, engineers, and other professionals chosen for their expertise and experience in areas relevant to the project. This team remains consistent from concept to completion and beyond, ensuring continuity and personalized service throughout the project.
